Christopher Lloyd, Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace, and Tony Goldwyn are all set to guest star in the third season of Max’s “Hacks”.
The new season picks up the action a year later when Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is still celebrating her successful standup special while Ava (Hannah Einbinder) pursues new opportunities in Los Angeles.
Paul W. Downs and Megan Slater, recurring stars in the first two seasons, have been upgraded to series regulars here.
Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo also return.
Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky serve as creators and showrunners on the comedy which is expected to return in the spring.
Michael Schur, David Miner and Morgan Sackett executive produce for Universal Television.
The show has received critical acclaim and won accolades including Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Directing, and for Smart’s performance.
