Emmy Award winner and Canadian national treasure Eugene Levy has scored a recurring role in the upcoming fourth season of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building”.
The season will focus on solving the murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), Charles-Haden Savage’s (Steve Martin) long-running stunt double from his years on “Brazzos” and its revival.
Further specifics about the new season story and characters are under wraps, though we do know the season will see a visit to Los Angeles before returning to The Arconia.
Specifics of Levy’s character are under wraps. He joins other new cast members announced recently including Molly Shannon and Eva Longoria, whilst Meryl Streep will reprise her role of Loretta Durkin from the third season.
Regular recurring star and front-running Oscar nominee Da’Vine Joy Randolph has also indicated she expects to return for the fourth season in her Detective Donna Williams role.
Levy has a long history and friendship with series star and executive producer Martin Short, with the pair part of the sketch comedy series “SCTV”. Levy also appeared with Short and Steve Martin in the “Father of the Bride” films.
“Only Murders in the Building” season four is expected to premiere in the Fall.
