Filming on the Gerard Butler-led sci-fi action sequel “Greenland: Migration” is reportedly set to begin on April 22nd in London and Iceland according to Collider.
The film will see Butler reunite with the 2020 first film’s co-star Morena Baccarin, director Ric Roman Waugh and writer Chris Sparling on the project which is set 5-7 years after a comet has decimated Earth.
The new film sees the Garrity family forced to embark on a perilous journey across what’s left of Europe to find a new home. Additional casting is set to begin in the next few weeks.
In other filming news, actor Will Smith has announced that filming for the fourth “Bad Boys” movie has resumed in Miami after being halted last Summer due to the strikes.
Smith confirmed the news on his TikTok channel and indicated only a few days of shooting are left to do. The movie conducted most of its shoot from April-July last year in both Miami and Atlanta.
The new film sees Smith and Martin Lawrence reprising their roles of Miami detectives Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett. Also back from “Bad Boys for Life” are directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah along with co-stars Vanessa Hudgens, Paola Nunez and Alexander Ludwig.
Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, and Joyner Lucas join them in this outing, whilst Tasha Smith is taking over the role of Theresa Burnett from Theresa Randle. The new “Bad Boys” premieres June 14th in cinemas.
