Former “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria has been cast in a recurring role in the fourth season of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building”.
The season will focus on solving the murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), Charles-Haden Savage’s (Steve Martin) long-running stunt double from his years on “Brazzos” and its revival.
Further specifics about the new season story and characters are under wraps, though we do know the season will see a visit to Los Angeles before returning to The Arconia.
In addition, Meryl Streep will reprise her role of Loretta Durkin from the third season, whilst Molly Shannon is onboard as a high-powered LA businesswoman.
It has also been indicated that Longoria’s character is “integral to the twists and turns of this season’s investigation” according to Deadline who reported the news.
Longoria is coming off her feature film directorial debut “Flamin’ Hot” and recently began promoting her new Apple TV+ series “Land of Women”. She has new adaptations of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” a TV take on Isabel Allende’s “The House of the Spirits,” and the Disney+ series “Paola Santiago and the River of Tears” in the works.
