Will Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne/Batman have a cameo in the upcoming “The Batman” spin-off series “The Penguin”?
There have been rumours of such a possibility for at least a year, but the studio has never confirmed it, even as production on the series commenced a year ago on March 1st.
Filming ran through June when it paused due to the strike, then started up again after Thanksgiving. Work continued until this past Saturday when shooting on the show wrapped.
Actor Carmen Ejogo posted a photo on Instagram this weekend confirming the wrap of the series’ production.
Around the same time, ComicBookMovie reports that Pattinson was reportedly spotted on the set of the series, though stopped short of providing any kind of photographic evidence, which could suggest a potential season finale cameo appearance.
Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Clancy Brown, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, and Ejogo star in the series created by Lauren LeFranc. It will unfold after the events of “The Batman” as Penguin and other battle for control of Gotham’s underworld following Falcone’s demise.
