By Molly Shannon has joined the cast of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” in a recurring role for the show’s fourth season.
Shannon will reportedly play a high-powered Los Angeles businesswoman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in New York.
Plot details for the season remain under wraps, but it’s confirmed that the season’s start will be shot and take place in Los Angeles before returning to the familiar Arconia building in New York.
The new season will see Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin) and Oliver (Martin Short) searching for answers about who killed Sazz (Jane Lynch) and if they were actually aiming for Charles.
Despite the strikes delaying early work, production is chugging along though the big question is whether the series can still make a late Summer premiere date which previous seasons have been consistently able to do.
Shannon was most recently seen in last year’s Zack Braff film “A Good Person,” Max comedy series “The Other Two” and HBO’s “The White Lotus”.
