Marvel Studios has released the trailer for the third “Deadpool” movie which is going by the official title of “Deadpool & Wolverine”.
Filming on the project wrapped only the other week. The film was one of the most strike-impacted productions as it had to shoot during the writer’s strike and was then halted halfway through due to the actor’s strike.
Once that was over, filming resumed and now finally they’re done. Post-production will now race through in order for the film to meet its planned release.
The trailer confirms the Time Variance Authority, the multi-verse hopping organization at the center of “Loki,” will play a key role in the film with Deadpool declaring himself Marvel’s Jesus.
Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Garner, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, Rob Delaney, Stefan Kapicic, Karan Soni, and Shioli Kutsuna co-star.
Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells penned the film which will officially be Marvel Studios’ first R-rated movie.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” opens in cinemas July 26th.
