By Former “Game of Thrones” alums Sophie Turner and Kit Harington are set to reunite for the gothic horror film “The Dreadful”.
The film unfolds against the backdrop of the War of the Roses in the 15th century and follows Anne (Turner) and her mother-in-law Morwen, who live a solitary and harsh life on the outskirts of society in England.
When a man (Harington) from their past returns, he will set off a sequence of events that become a turning point for Anne.
The project is being written and directed by Natasha Kermani (“Lucky,” “Imitation Girl”). Turner, Greg Lauritano, Luke Daniels, Patrick Muldoon and Patrick Hibler produce.
The pair starred across all eight seasons of HBO’s popular fantasy series as Sansa Stark and Jon Snow. Both scored Emmy nominations for their work.
No word on filming dates. The project is one of many being shopped around at the current EFM in Berlin.
