National Geographic has renewed two of its Disney+ original series for second seasons.
First up, 2022’s “Limitless with Chris Hemsworth” will continue as the Marvel and “Extraction” star looks at secrets of improving our lives. In the second season, he travels through Nepal, Italy, Australia, and the United Kingdom in four new challenges.
Next up, the Awkwafina-narrated and Pixar-inspired series “A Real Bug’s Life” will get another five-episode season launching this Fall. It will follow a new cast of insects including femme fatale firefly, bachelor luna moth, a real-life assassin bug and the botany bay weevil.
They’re not the only renewals today either. The Jason Momoa-led eight-part travelogue docuseries “On the Roam” will return for a second season on Max. The order comes as the season finale was released yesterday.
Perhaps the biggest renewal news today is a LONG way from confirmed like these ones are and is rumor for now. Hollywood North Buzz reports that Amazon Prime Video’s “The Boys” is gearing up for a fifth season shoot in Toronto.
They indicate that though there has yet to be a publicly announced fifth season, filming dates on production lists in the city have appeared with a filming window of April 8th-August 22nd booked for the project.
