The Girls on the Bus
Max has set a March 14th launch date for Max’s new drama series “The Girls on the Bus” based on Amy Chozick’s best-selling book “Chasing Hillary”. Two episodes will launch the show followed by weekly new episodes through May 9th.

Former “Supergirl” star Melissa Benoist both produces the series and stars in it alongside Carla Gugino, Natasha Behnam and Christina Elmore. Benoist plays a journalist who scraps her whole life for a shot at covering a presidential candidate for a paper of record. [Source: Deadline]

Animal Control
Ahead of the show’s second season premiere on March 6th, FOX has handed out a renewal order for a third season of its Joel McHale-led single-camera comedy “Animal Control”.

The series centers on a group of animal control workers and co-stars Michael Rowland, Vella Lovell, Ravi Patel, Grace Palmer, and Gerry Dee. Ken Jeong, Sarah Chalke, and Krystal Smith guest star in the second season. [Source: Variety]

The White Lotus
“Shadow and Bone” actor Julian Kostov is joining the third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus,” replacing Milos Bikovic in a recurring role. Filming begins in Thailand this month.

Kostov joins the cast after HBO opted to part ways with Bikovic, following public criticism from Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs over Bikovic’s seeming support for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. [Source: THR]

Interview with the Vampire
AMC has announced that the second season of its “Interview With the Vampire” adaptation will debut May 12th. David Costabile, Roxane Duran and Bally Gill all guest star in the new season which will adapt the back half of Anne Rice’s book. Check out the newly released trailer below.

Department Q
Matthew Goode, Kelly Macdonald, Chloe Pirrie, Alexej Manvelov, Leah Byrne, Mark Bonnar , Shirley Henderson, Jamie Sives and Kate Dickie will lead “The Queen’s Gambit” and “Monsieur Spade” creator Scott Frank’s new eight part series “Department Q” for Netflix.

An adaptation of the novels of the same name by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen, Goode stars as Carl Morck – a former top-rated detective in Edinburgh assigned to setup a new cold case department whilst wracked with guilt following an attack that left his partner paralysed. Avatar: The Last Airbender
Netflix has released one more promo for its live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” based on the beloved Nickelodeon series. The clip teases Aang, Katara and Sokka’s friendship and their first meeting at the Southern Water Tribe. The series launches on February 22nd.
