Disney+ has announced that “Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version),” which contains the concert film in its entirety for the first time, will have its streaming debut on March 15th exclusively on the Disney+ service.
The history-making concert film grossed more than $260 million worldwide at the global box office, making it the top selling concert film of all-time.
This version will run longer, including the song “Cardigan” and four additional acoustic songs. In making the announcement Disney CEO Bob Iger says:
“The Eras Tour has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively through Disney+.”
The SVOD release follows on from the film’s theatrical run in October and PVOD release in mid-December. That PVOD release boasted three additional songs – “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live”.
