By A24 has released the second trailer for its crime drama thriller “Love Lies Bleeding” starring Oscar nominee Kristen Stewart, Katy O’Brian (“The Mandalorian”) and Ed Harris.
The film centers around a reclusive gym manager Lou (Stewart) who falls hard for Jackie (O’Brian), an ambitious and aspiring bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream.
But their blossoming romance ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family. Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco and Ed Harris also star.
Rose Glass (“Saint Maud”) directs from a screenplay she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. Daniel Battsek, David Kimbangi, Susan Kirr, and Ollie Madden executive produce.
The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival where it scored strong reviews and drove a lot of discussion about its content.
“Love Lies Bleeding” will get a theatrical release on March 15th 2024.
