Oscar nominees Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell have set their next projects, and they’re teaming up with celebrated “Columbus” and “After Yang” director Kogonada for it.
Titled “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” the project hails from an original script by Seth Reiss (“The Menu”) with Imperative Entertainment producing and 30West financing.
The story specifics are under wrapsan imaginative tale of two strangers and the unbelievable journey that connects them. Farrell and Kogonada previously teamed on “After Yang”.
Reiss, Youree Henley, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Ryan Friedkin will produce.
Robbie is of course coming off the $1.4 billion success of “Barbie” which recently landed eight Oscar nominations including a Best Picture one. She had her pick of scripts to choose from as a follow-up project and settled on this.
Farrell will soon be seen in the private-eye drama series “Sugar” which premieres April 5th on Apple TV+ and has been shooting “The Penguin” TV series for Max.
