Sony PlayStation’s newest State of Play is currently underway with two big reveals from the “Silent Hill” franchise.
The first is “Silent Hill: The Short Message,” a new first-person short game released for free today on PlayStation 5.
In that game, a young woman named Anita finds herself at a crumbling apartment block, infamous for rumors of suicides.
Drawn inside, she soon finds her sense of reality shattered as she encounters bizarre, otherworldly spaces, haunted by a twisted monster.
The other is a new ‘Combat Reveal’ trailer for the “Silent Hill 2” remake from Bloober Team, this one showing off combat elements of the game with those elements improved and modernized.
The famed psychological survival horror begins when a man receives a letter from his deceased wife and he heads to where they shared so many memories – Silent Hill.
Sadly, the trailer only indicates the game is in development still, so there is no sign of a release date or even year as yet.
