Gary Graham of Alien Nation and Star Trek fame suddenly became an angel yesterday.

Gary was best known for his role as Detective Matthew (great name) Sikes in the TV adaptation of Alien Nation. He was also beloved by Trekkies for his recurring role as Ambassador Soval, a Vulcan ambassador to Earth in Star Trek: Enterprise.

Gaz also appeared on various other Star Trek shows. He played Ocampan community leader Tanis in Star Trek: Voyager. He played Ragnar in the fan production Star Trek: Of Gods and Men and Star Trek: Renegades. In 2015, he reprised his role as Ambassador Soval, in the fan film Star Trek: Axanar.

Graham was born in Long Beach, California. One of his earliest roles was in the 80s CBS mini-series Scruples. He was cast as a hitman in Moonlighting co-starring opposite Bruce Willis. During his career, Graham played more than 38 TV roles and had been in more than 40 movies.

He was also a musician in the bands The Gary Graham Garage Band, The Gary Graham Band, and The Sons of Kirk. Graham was also a contributor to Breitbart News.

Gary’s wife of nearly 25 years, Becky Graham, said her husband died suddenly of a cardiac arrest in Spokane, Washington at the age of 73.

“It is with deep profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex-husband, amazing actor, and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today.

We are completely devastated, especially our daughter… this was sudden so please pray for our daughter as she navigates through this thing called grief.”

Sadly Gary Graham is now part of an ever-growing list of people who “died suddenly”. Climate change sure has a lot to answer for.
