Julian Dennison (“Deadpool 2”), Gabriel Howell (“Bodies”), Bronwyn James (“Masters of the Air”), and Harry Trevaldwyn (“The Bubble”) have all joined the live-action “How to Train Your Dragon” at Universal Pictures.
The quartet will play Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut respectively in the film based on the beloved DreamWorks Animation title which itself was based on the books by Cressida Cowell.
The story takes place in the mythical Viking village of Berk and follows the adventures of a misfit teen named Hiccup who befriends an injured dragon he calls Toothless. He soon discovers there may be more to the creatures than he or his family assumed.
They join a cast that includes Mason Thames as Hiccup and Nico Parker as Astrid, while Gerard Butler will reprise his role as Stoick the Vast and Nick Frost joins the franchise as Gobber the Belch.
Original “How to Train Your Dragon” filmmaker Dean DeBlois is directing, writing and producing this new reboot which Marc Platt and Adam Siegel produce.
“How to Train Your Dragon” will open in cinemas on June 13th 2025 with filming currently underway.
