By NEON has premiered a second cryptic teaser trailer for “The Blackcoat’s Daughter” director Oz Perkins’ horror-thriller film “Longlegs” starring Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage.
The film follows Lee Harker (Monroe), a talented new FBI agent, has been assigned to an unsolved case of a serial killer.
As the investigation becomes more complicated and occult evidence is uncovered, Harker realizes a personal link and must act quickly to prevent another family murder.
The new teaser offers more than the first and seemingly shows a priest getting axed before Monroe’s agent character looks over an evidence board.
Alicia Witt and Blair Underwood co-star. The film was shot in Vancouver early last year and screened at EFM where NEON acquired it.
Cage is coming off a number of films of late including “Dream Scenario,” and he also has “Arcadian” opening this year. Monroe will soon film the “It Follows” sequel “They Follow”.
