Ninja Theory and Xbox Game Studios’ “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2” has finally set a release date with the game finally coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 21st this year.
The game unfolds in 10th-century Iceland, where the Vikings have been enslaving her people – she has arrived with the intent of stopping those who raided her village right at their source.
Senua is now more at peace with the voices and visions that are part of her psychosis, but she’ll still make new enemies as well as allies along her journey.
The title will be a digital-only game, no physical copies, and will be a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC. For those wishing to purchase a copy from the Xbox Store, Windows Store, or Steam, it’ll cost $49.99.
Part of the reason for the digital only release and lower price point, according to Ninja Theory, is to “reflect the shorter length of our story”.
The game’s length is said to be on par with the first game and is once again a focused and streamlined narrative story – next to nothing in the way of side quests.
According to HowLongToBeat. the first game clocked in at 7.5 hours for the main story and 9 hours for 100% completion.
