HBO has premiered the trailer for the twelfth and final season of Larry David’s comedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm” which premieres on February 4th.
Regulars like Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Susie Essman, Jeff Garlin and J.B. Smoove all return and are joined by guest stars including Dan Levy, Sean Hayes, Vince Vaughn and Tracey Ullman.
Originally released in 2000, the show was created by David who stars as a semi-fictionalized version of himself. Throughout its run it has been critically praised and nominated for over fifty Emmy Awards.
The show ended once before, back in 2011 after eight seasons. It was resurrected in 2017 with a ninth season followed by a tenth in 2020 and an eleventh in 2021. Talking about ending it last year, David said:
“As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character, and so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.”
The ten-episode final season is executive produced by David, Garlin and Jeff Schaffer and will conclude with a series finale on April 7th.
