By The official trailer is out for the romance crime thriller “Marmalade” starring Joe Keery, Camila Morrone and Aldis Hodge.
Recently incarcerated Baron (Keery) strikes up a friendship with cellmate Otis, a man with a well-versed history of prison breaks.
As the pair hatch an escape plan together, Baron recalls the story of how he met Marmalade, the love of his life who dragged him into the life of crime.
Their ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ style scheme to rob a bank in order to pay for his mother’s medical needs, and give the couple the life they’ve always dreamed of.
The film hails from actor Keir O’Donnell (“Wedding Crashers”) making his feature directorial debut. Wayne Duvall, Susan Brava, Hans Christopher and Andrew E. Wheeler co-star.
Sarah Gabriel, Marc Goldberg, James Harris, and Mark Lane produce for Brainstorm Media and Signature Entertainment.
“Marmalade” will debut on February 9th in theaters and on VOD.
