At the end of last month, it was announced that Sebastian Stan would be taking on the role of a young Donald Trump in the upcoming film The Apprentice.
Already, shooting is underway and the first images of Stan as Trump have been released. Page Six published the photos from the set in Toronto which shows Stan with the trademark hair.
The Apprentice unfolds in the 1970s and 1980s when Trump was building his real estate empire. The blurb says it is an exploration of power and ambition set in a world of corruption and deceit, a mentor-protégé story that charts the origins of an American dynasty. Filled with larger-than-life characters, it reveals the moral and human cost of a culture defined by winners and losers.
The film also stars Succession actor Jeremy Strong as attorney Roy Cohn and Maria Bakalova (Borat) as Donald’s first wife Ivana Trump.
A release date for the film, directed by Ali Abbasi, has yet to be announced.
