By Even though his hiring was only announced a few days ago, the first set photos are already out of Marvel star Sebastian Stan as a young Donald Trump on set of the upcoming feature film “The Apprentice”.
Page Six published the photos which sees Stan take on Donald’s sandy blond hair and decked out in a coat and suit whilst shooting in Toronto.
The film unfolds in the 1970s and 1980s when Trump was building his real estate empire. One scene film reportedly saw Stan’s Trump eating a sandwich while sitting on a park bench on a snowy day.
The film also stars “Succession” actor Jeremy Strong as attorney Roy Cohn and “Borat” sequel breakout Maria Bakalova as Donald’s first wife Ivana Trump.
The initial reports about the movie called it an” “exploration of power and ambition set in a world of corruption and deceit, a mentor-protégé story that charts the origins of an American dynasty. Filled with larger-than-life characters, it reveals the moral and human cost of a culture defined by winners and losers.”
A release date for the film, directed by Ali Abbasi, has yet to be announced.
