By Bleecker Street has premiered the first trailer for “I.S.S.,” a new sci-fi thriller opening in cinemas on January 19th.
Tensions flare in the near future aboard the International Space Station as a worldwide conflict breaks out on Earth.
Reeling from this, the American and Russian astronauts receive orders from the ground: take control of the station for their respective countries by any means necessary.
The conflict causes tension and mistrust as both sides have to figure out how what to do while still being stuck in space.
Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, Pilou Asbaek, John Gallagher Jr., Costa Ronin, and Masha Mashkova star.
Gabriela Cowperthwaite (“Blackfish”) directs from a Blacklist script by Nick Shafir. The film premiered at the Tribeca Festival in June to very good reviews.
