BioWare has announced it will fully reveal its anticipated “Dragon Age: Dreadwolf” game in the Summer of 2024. The news coincides with its annual ‘DA Day’ community celebration of all things related to the fantasy series.
The news was also accompanied by the release of a new trailer with a glimpse of some of the in-game locations players will get to visit in Dreadwolf.
A new blog post says the game will have a much larger map across the Thedas continent than past titles with at least three locations available as opposed to the three prior titles which were effectively limited to single regions (Ferelden, Kirkwall, Orlais respectively).
The new locations are described thus:
“This time, however, much more of Thedas is yours to see. The desolate, beautiful badlands of the Anderfels with curtains of distant mountainous spires. The twisting canals and gleaming towers of Antiva, where Crows may lurk in any shadow. The turquoise seas of Rivain with its rushes of greenery and hardy sea-faring people. And of course, there’s more.”
The tease of the new “Dragon Age” comes ahead of the the debut trailer for “Grand Theft Auto 6” which just released online early. It’s likely both games will get 2025 releases.
