Ketchup Entertainment has premiered the first trailer for Michel Franco’s drama “Memory”.
Jessica Chastain plays Sylvia, a social worker who leads a simple and structured life. This is blown open when Saul (Peter Sarsgaard) follows her home from their high school reunion.
Saul has recently lost his memory and their surprise encounter will profoundly impact both of them as they open the door to the past.
Elsie Fisher, Merritt Wever, Jessica Harper, Brooke Timber, and Josh Charles co-star. Franco, Eréndira Núñez Larios, Alex Orlovsky, and Duncan Montgomery produce.
The film premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival with Franco nominated for the Golden Lion and Sarsgaard winning for Best Actor.
“Memory” opens in New York City and Los Angeles on December 22nd ahead of a wide release on January 5th. Chastain and Franco have also shot “Dreams” which co-stars Isaac Hernández and Rupert Friend and does not yet have a release date.
