Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Following rumors last week that the “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” remake was effectively dead, a new post from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier says the game is still being worked on at Saber Interactive according to his sources. He advises, however, that he “can’t say whether the KOTOR Remake will ever actually come out”. [Source: Jason Schreier]

The Blackening 2
MRC and Lionsgate are developing a sequel to Dewayne Perkins and Tracy Oliver’s hit microbudget horror-comedy “The Blackening” which made more than $18 million at the box office on a budget of just $5 million.

Directed by Tim Story, the first film follows a group of college friends who reunite on Juneteenth weekend and are hunted by a killer who asks them to determine who is the Blackest among them. [Source: Variety]

Good Burger 3
The “Good Burger” sequel had its debut today on Paramount+, but already the film’s director, Phil Traill, says that there are “plans afoot” for not just a third one but more potential sequels. He says: “I don’t think it has to be limited to a trilogy, it can go on.” [Source: Radio Times]

Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War
The next iteration in the “Call of Duty” franchise is reportedly a new Black Ops title set during the Gulf War in the early 1990s and is reportedly being developed by Treyarch for release next Fall.

The game aims to “explore a nuanced narrative of the Gulf War, with a critical focus on different participants within the conflict” and will lean into more traditional military combat tech as opposed to Modern Warfare’s near-future tech. [Source: Windows Central]

Frasier
Kelsey Grammer’s return to the role of Frasier Crane is heading into the tail end of its ten-episode run as the revival is set to close out on December 7th. No renewal order has been handed out at present.

Though the series has scored mixed reviews but the actor says in a new interview with Variety that he’s ready to “go to another 100 episodes at least”. Whether he’ll get that opportunity – we’ll see.

South Park: Snow Day
THQ has released the trailer for “South Park: Snow Day” which is set to release in 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Plays can join Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny, in three-dimensional glory, to celebrate the most magical day in any young child’s life – a snow day. Players can grab up to three friends and battle your way through the snow-piled streets of South Park on a quest to save the world.
