Warner Bros. Pictures will bring stars from both “Dune: Part Two” and “Furiosa” to Brazil’s Comic Con (CCXP) in Sao Paulo late next week.
IGN reports that on Thursday, November 30th there will be a panel for “Furiosa” with director George Miller and stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth reportedly set to participate.
No publicity material for the film has been released to date, so the event sounds like it could see a teaser trailer launch for the movie ahead of its May 2024 opening.
Then on Sunday December 3rd, there will be panels for three Warners films – “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” “Dune: Part Two” and “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”.
Much of the major cast from the latter two are expected to show up at the event including Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul Mateen II. The directors for all three films (Adam Wingard, Denis Villeneuve, James Wan) are also expected to be on hand.
Like with “Furiosa,” there’s been no “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” publicity material thus far and with that opening sooner on April 12th next year, it’s also likely getting a first trailer at the event.
CCXP runs from November 30th-December 3rd at the São Paulo Expo.
