AMC has announced a February 25th premiere date for “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live,” the upcoming spin-off series that features the return of Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as Rick and Michonne.
The date was announced alongside a new clip from the series which aired alongside the “Fear the Walking Dead” series finale last night.
The epic love story follows two characters changed by a changed world. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead…and ultimately, a war against the living.
Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive — or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?
Other cast includes Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl, Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis, Terry O’Quinn as Beale, and Matt Jeffries as Matt.
Scott M. Gimple serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth and Brian Bockrath. “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” will be available on both AMC and the AMC+ service.
