Heroes, it’s old-fashioned notion….as Marvel Studios releases the final trailer for the upcoming superhero adventure in their cinematic universe titled The Marvels. View trailer below.
Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”.
Oh, wow…. I wasn’t expecting a new trailer for this movie, especially since the movie is coming out in only a few days from posting this trailer. Yet, I do have to admit that I am more curious about this project because of this trailer preview. While I was too “super excited” about the two previous trailers for this film, but this preview enticed me greatly and held my attention far more than the other ones. The trailer does show a lot (and I do mean a lot) of previous flashback scenes from some of the previous MCU installments, which definitely got me interested and excited, but I think it’s a bit too much on “playing on nostalgia”, which (in hindsight) can be seeing as both good and bad. Overall, after seeing this trailer, I am a bit more interested in seeing The Marvels in a few days. Hopefully this movie surprises me.
