A ghostly frozen synapses is coming as Sony Pictures Entertainment releases the official teaser trailer for the upcoming blockbuster sequel Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. View trailer below.
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
After the hype of the arrival of Ghostbusters: Afterlife was, I wasn’t too excited to see the new movie. However, Afterlife, while retreading a lot with nostalgia and other narrative references, did manage to revitalize the brand, especially after the mixed thoughts on the all-female lead film. So, overall, I was interested to see where the franchise would go from here. Well, I guess that this movie answers that question, with the teaser trailer for Frozen Empire look to continue what Afterlife began. It will be interesting to see how everything plays out in the movie and how the series can continue further. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing this project.
