Amazon’s Prime Video will release the first official trailer for the second season of its acclaimed adaptation of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels tomorrow.
Ahead of that, a brief clip from the new run of “Reacher” has gone online teasing said trailer launch. We do know the outing was originally set to premiere sometime next month, but a specific date is also expected to be revealed tomorrow.
The new season is based on Lee Child’s 11th book in the series “Bad Luck and Trouble” and sees Reacher setting out to find answers when members of his old military unit turn up dead.
Alan Ritchson and Maria Sten return from the first series in their respective Jack Reacher and Frances Neagley roles.
Robert Patrick, Shaun Sipos, Serinda Swan, Ferdinand Kingsley and Domenick Lombardozzi co-star in the new season with Patrick playing a former NYPD detective turned heads of security for a private defense contractor.
The first season ranked among Prime Video’s top five most-watched series ever in the U.S. and globally and was one of the most-binged original series ever on Prime Video.
