Marvel has premiered a new ‘mid-season’ trailer for the second season of “Loki” that both recaps what’s happened in the first four episodes whilst offering a few brief glimpses of the final two left in the current run.
After the universe seemingly ended in last week’s installment, the trailer suggests something’s up as the clip offers glimpses of scenes like Mobius as a Jet Ski salesman, Casey as a prisoner, and Ravonna Renslayer being sent to the Void.
The TVA is undergoing spaghettification, whilst both Miss Minutes and Victor Timely may not be entirely out of action just yet. How this is all going to end is not clear, but there’s no Kang hints here in the clip.
The trailer comes as second-season showrunner Eric Martin revealed to THR recently that his contributions to the first season were more extensive than first realised,
He says he ended up having to “rewrite a ton” of the first season after head writer Michael Waldron left to work on “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and the pandemic caused all sorts of production shifts and changes.
Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, who directed the first and fourth episodes this season, return for the next two.
